I am a fully qualified Carpenter and Horticulturist living in Exeter. I offer a wide range of garden services - including anything from small one off jobs, regular maintenance and tidying, to more complete projects including design, construction and planting of gardens.

I am an experienced carpenter also offering a decorating and handyman service for those small jobs you either can't do or get anyone else to do!

I'm very practical, open minded and willing to develop new skills so any projects considered!

My Story

I started off working as a Carpenter and gained my NVQ qualification as an apprentice working with my Dad. We did a lot of private jobs back then and used to also carry out a fair few decorating and odd jobs as well, so I got a good insight into the whole home improvement thing - I enjoyed this work more than construction site jobs. I liked meeting the clients and satisfaction of seeing their reaction to a good job was something that was missing from site work.

I later developed a keen interest in plants and gardens. I pursued this interest by completing a course with the RHS. I enjoyed this so much I went on to study for a Foundation Degree in Horticulture, which I then topped up to a full BSc degree in Plant Sciences at the University of Plymouth.

When living in Plymouth I worked with my Fiancee after we graduated. We did a range of private gardening jobs, often integrating carpentry and horticulture to create bespoke solutions for small City gardens.
